Highlights: Mr. Dills, a native of Tazewell, VA. and a graduate of the University of Richmond was a well respected project development, events specialist, and public relations consultant. In the early years of his career, he was a division director of the Tazewell County Development Corp, and created cottage industries based on Appalachian Folk Craft, he was also the Director of Arts with TAP (Total Action Against Poverty). From this position, he marketed Virginia folk craft and produced exhibits in conjunction with the Roanoke Fine Arts Center. During this time, he served on the Virginia Arts Commission Craft Panel, he moved on to become the design director of the Smithsonian Institution Museum Shops in Washington D.C. and later pursued a full-time career as a consultant in public relations working for non-profit organizations. Mr Dills might best be remembered for producing gala fund-raising events. He served as event planner and producer for Roanoke's 125th anniversary celebration in 2007 along with writing and producing a documentary film about Roanoke, “Stars and Stripes,” which was narrated by his friend Earl Hamner, creator of “The Waltons.”

STAGGERED CLOSING: The online auction closes 4 items per minute This feature will close the bidding on intervals. This feature works great with the auto-extend feature to closely emulate a 'live' auction.
DYNAMIC CLOSING: The closing time of an asset is automatically extended an additional 4 minutes whenever a bid is placed within the last 4 minutes of the asset's closing time.

After the scheduled removal, items will be considered abandoned and you will be charged a removal fee for disposal of your unclaimed items. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO PICK UP AND REMOVE YOUR ITEMS AT THE POSTED REMOVAL TIMES. Bidders who do not pickup their items at the scheduled time will be considered to have abandoned their purchases and agree that they will not be entitled to any refund or adjustment.
